Gold Creek Village

Gold Creek Village is north of Canberra and the attractions there are a neat combination of colonial kitsch and interesting exhibits. There is the "National Dinosaur Museum" with giant bones and fossil workshops as well as the "Australian Reptile Centre", which showcases reptilian life, from tree skinks and scrub pythons to the world's three deadliest land snakes. Nearby is "Cockington Green", an immaculately manicured, too-quaint miniature English Village.
