Preventing an aggressive dog from attacking

I was always worried that a dog would attack the dog I was walking so I always made sure to take things with me.

I would usually bring a stick with me but one time I took a water pistol! This water pistol was able to come in handy as I would squirt it at any dog that came near the one I was walking.

The dog's owners weren't happy when I squirted them but they understood when I explained why. I think a few times it would've helped saved my dog I was walking from injury!
