Flinders Island

 

Flinders Island is in the northeast of Tasmania and its main industries are farming, fishing and seasonal mutton-burding. The main fishing area is "Lady Barron" in the south. Worth-seeing is also the "Emita Museum" which has old sealing and shipwreck relics and the shipwrecks around the Island. There is a wide variety of wildlife, a lot walking trails through the bush and you can climb on "Mt Strzelecki". You can find a many beautiful beaches, several scuba diving locations and fishing spots. Some people are still looking for diamonds on the beach.
