Victor Harbor

The most important city on "Fleurieu Peninsula" is Victor Harbor. It is a hugely popular retirement and holiday town 83 km south of Adelaide. Children love the double-decker tram pulled by Clydesdale draught horses across the short causeway to tiny “Granite Island”, which also has a little penguin rookery. The “Urimbirra Wildlife Park”, north of Victor Harbor, has a variety of animals and birds.
